OVERVIEW
With a power consumption of just 100W, the Iceriver AE0 can mine the zkSNARK algorithm at a maximum hash rate of 60Mh/s. The Iceriver AE0 weighs about 2.5 kg and has a great energy efficiency of 1.67 j/Mh.
The Iceriver AE0 is perfect for mining Aleo from any location because of its small size, low noise level of 45 dB, and lightweight design. For Iceriver AE0, the setup procedure is really simple. Almost anyone can accomplish this straightforward plug-and-play ASIC on their own.
With step-by-step directions and pertinent graphics that you can easily consult, this comprehensive setup guide will walk you through the whole setup process.
Opening the Iceriver AE0 package
Your Iceriver AE0 will arrive in a sturdy cardboard box that has been securely cushioned with foam pieces on the top and bottom to guard against damage and guarantee a secure delivery.
For your convenience, the foam has a separate compartment for the power supply and the ASIC.
It is uncertain if a power source will be included with the upcoming models. The ASIC did not come with a power supply in this case.
Here, the power source is a 120V, 2.5-inch barrel laptop battery converter, similar to the one shown in the image below.
As seen below, it is connected to the standard 110V North American power source.
A larger power supply, such as 180, 220, or 300 W, is available. It is strongly advised to purchase a power supply for this ASIC because it might eventually have an overclock. Having a suitable power source is preferable because we don't want to burn anything.
Additionally, there is a dedicated Ethernet connection.
Additionally, the ASIC is Wi-Fi capable. The Wi-Fi hasn't been adjusted for the ASIC yet, though. The next firmware upgrade for Wi-Fi optimization will be made available by the Iceriver corporation. It is available for direct download and installation from the manufacturer's website.
How is Iceriver AE0 configured?
This is a brief setup guide for the Iceriver AE0 that includes pertinent images and detailed directions.
1. Getting the ASIC ready
Place the ASIC on a level surface after carefully removing it. Because the ASIC will be releasing a lot of heat, make sure the space has adequate ventilation.
Connect the Iceriver AE0's power line.
Connect the Ethernet cable to the ASIC after that.
Even though the Iceriver AE0 supports Wi-Fi, setting up the ASIC first requires an Ethernet wire.
The ASIC will switch on in a few seconds when the Ethernet and power supply cables are connected.
2. Setting up the ASIC
Finding the IP address of your Iceriver AE0 is the next step. After that, you can set up the wallet, worker name, and mining pool using its online GUI.
A standard computer or laptop that shares an internet connection with your IceRiver AE0 can be used.
Either of the following methods can be used to obtain the IP address.
To find out your miner's IP address, you can use the Advanced IP Scanner software, which is available for free.
As an alternative, you can obtain the IP address by logging into your router.
Using Advanced IP Scanner is convenient. Your IP address is automatically scanned by the software.
Make a copy of your Iceriver AE0's IP address.
3. Using the Web Browser to Access the Iceriver AE0
Open a web browser and type the copied IP address.
The screen requesting a login and password will be displayed. Enter "12345678" as the password and "admin" as the username. The username and password are set to default.
You can access your Iceriver AE0's online GUI as soon as you log in.
4. Including the Mining Pool
To add the mining pool, worker name, and password, navigate to the Mining Settings page.
The next step is to select the mining pool. To choose the mining pool for Aleo mining, you can look at miningpoolstats.stream. Iceriver AE0 is currently only supported by Whalepool.
To save your Aleo coins, you will then require a cryptocurrency wallet. You are free to use whichever wallet you like. Let's take the Leo wallet here.
Visit Whirlpool's website. The mining pool nearest to your location can be copied and pasted into the first field. The remaining mining pools are available for backup use.
The mining pool for the US location is the one in the center here. That should be copied and pasted into the pool 1 tab.
The mining pools for the European site should then be replicated. In the pool 2 field, paste them.
Finally, copy and paste the Asia location's mining pool address into the pool 3 tab.
You can mine using the other two mining pools even if the main mining pool goes down because we're adding three.
Entering the wallet address is the next step. The Leo wallet address can be copied and entered into each of the three fields.
The name of the employee must then be included, followed by a period. AE0 is the worker's name in this instance. To make this worker stand out at the pool level, we added their name.
"x" is the password for each of the three fields. After entering all the information, click "Save."
Get Aleo Mining Started
Your Iceriver AE0 will be mining Aleo in a matter of minutes. The mining status is directly visible on your dashboard. Try restarting your ASIC if not.
For firmware upgrades, be sure to visit the Iceriver website. Wi-Fi will be enabled, and settings will be optimized with the latest firmware.
